Teachers

Most teachers become teachers because of there need to help students academically succeed. Its important that teachers spend enough time with students and learn to maintain patience, especially when it comes to those students that struggle with certain areas. Some students require extra help, and extra attention when learning certain subjects, such as reading, writing, math, and much more. Its important to make sure that these students get the extra help they need, which is why its important that as teachers, who are dedicated towards helping students, make attempts to assist and tutor struggling students, so that they can achieve academic success.

Smart Five Year Old goes to Kindergarten!

While most kids spend their summer vacation with friends, five year old Krissy Rubesch has been spending time with a tutor.  Sure summer schooling isnt unusual for students, but it is when youre going into Kindergarten.

Krissy is already a pro at phonetic reading -- she has spent seven weeks learning about the tricky English language and how sometimes and e can appear silent.  She has also been working on addition with four-digit numbers, she has even worked on her creative writing skills to improve her penmanship and as well as improving her ability of sounding out words.

Her mother continues to emphasize that she is not trying to create a superstar student, but rather she wants her five year old daughter to keep up with the other eight year old students entering Kindergarten this fall.

Struggling Students

Many students have a hard time, especially in the classroom admitting and asking for help when they dont understand something. Being a teacher gives you the opportunity to reach out to these struggling students and offer a helping hand. Sometimes it can be embarrassing for a struggling student to ask for special help, which is why tutoring is such a useful and important tool for teachers to offer there students. Tutoring gives students a one on one chance to learn and practice subjects that he or she may be struggling with, and achieve academic success.

Tutoring

It is important to make sure that as teachers, you are up to date on the latest teaching methods. This is very useful to not only yourself, as a teacher, but to students as well. Most students are very different from one another, in many ways. For instance, some students may require a different method of teaching in order to help them understand something, where as a different student may take a quick understanding to the new lesson being thought based on another teaching format. Its important to learn new teaching methods and reach out to students who have specific learning needs, this is where tutoring comes in extremely useful.
